DESCRIPTION:Join Our Streets for a day at the Capitol as we advocate for policies that prioritize people-first transportation. Our 2026 legislative priorities address the inequities perpetuated by our current transportation infrastructure and ensure that communities are not further harmed by highways or poor transportation decisions at the system level. \n\n\n\nMake your voice heard and engage with your legislators. Showing up gets us closer to a future where: \n\n\n\n\nAll Minnesotans have reliable\, affordable multi-modal transportation options to move freely without the high cost of car ownership\n\n\n\nCommunities impacted by highway construction breathe cleaner air and enjoy safer streets\n\n\n\nTransportation works for us\, building vibrant communities in cities\, suburbs\, and across Minnesota\n\n\n\n\nJoin us whenever you have time that day. In the morning\, we’ll gather over refreshments before transitioning to a presentation from Our Streets staff and legislators from 10:00am-12:00pm. Then\, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives between 12:30-5:00pm. We will facilitate these meetings with legislators\, and you’ll most likely meet with fellow constituents and transportation advocates!
