Rethinking I-94 Policy Advisory Committee Meeting
December 9 @ 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is hosting a virtual Political Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting on Rethinking I-94. MnDOT plans to move forward with their political decision to remove the at-grade boulevard options, despite the overwhelming community interest and support to restore the boulevard options.
The project team will discuss the upcoming official public comment period for the Scoping Document/Draft Scoping Decision Document (SD/DSDD) and the Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW).
A portion of the meeting will be dedicated to public input and comment.
Show up and share your story to support Twin Cities Boulevard. You can advocate for the “at-grade” A and B alternatives and ask that MnDOT fix their flawed project evaluation criteria. Communities that were divided by I-94 deserve the opportunity to create a new future for the corridor. This must include options that don’t rebuild the highway trench. If MnDOT proceeds with this decision, it will take that option away from Saint Paul and Minneapolis communities.
