The city of Minneapolis has rules on containers used for serving food and drinks under the Green To Go city ordinance: All to-go containers must be reusable, recyclable, or compostable.

I serving or storing cold time/temperature control for safety foods, they must be kept at or below 41°F, and I must use mechanical refrigeration to do so as the event is more than four hours long.

My food or beverage service will be immediately closed for any of these reasons: 1) Serving opened food or beverage without handwashing. 2) Preparing or bringing food from an unlicensed facility. 3) Contamination or other immediate health hazards. 4) Not bringing enough hot and cold holding equipment.
