Kārli Žaklīna Barobs

Kārli is currently an undergraduate at the University of Minnesota, studying geography and urban studies. They have always been mesmerized by the transit network of their home city, Minneapolis, and strongly believe in the power that a multimodal transportation system has to connect communities. When not studying or canvassing, you may see Kārli riding the Blue Line (their favourite transit line in the city) or dancing with Pērkonītis, the local Latvian folk dance group. In addition to folk dancing, Kārli also likes to draw comics, paint, act in the U of M’s Masquerade Theatre, and make electronic music under the name “Numerik Café”.
