Melanie NeVilles (Shafer) got her bachelor’s in Political science at the University of Minnesota. She has experience organizing several community-led campaigns, including organizing efforts with Futures Beyond Criminalization.
Melanie is passionate about re-imagining a kinder, more inclusive world for everyone.
She enjoys sharing delicious vegan food with those around her and spending time with her friends and family. Together, they enjoy nature, playing games, making art, and gardening.
