Yasmin works to fiercely advocate for just and sustainable policies that protect impacted communities from systems of oppression. Her work after college began with civic engagement, mobilizing youth voters which developed into organizing municipal campaigns focused on environmental justice and public health. Yasmin is passionate about grassroots organizing that centers empowerment and radical imagination of a world where everyone has a chance at a dignified life.
In her spare time, she is a traveler and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys the wilderness.
