Our Streets Minneapolis has proudly hosted Open Streets Minneapolis since 2011. This year, the City of Minneapolis Public Works Department ended our contract without advance discussion. This decision jeopardized the future of Open Streets.

Open Streets Minneapolis is a cherished community tradition where neighbors meet neighbors, learn about their community, and experience a car-free environment. It is a hallmark of warmer weather that doesn’t require you to spend a penny to enjoy. We lose this and so much more if we cannot continue Open Streets Minneapolis.

If there is enough public pressure, we can save Open Streets for 2025.
